Dear IKON Homeowners We hope this email finds you well. As a reminder, the Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) and the Rules and Regulations are in place to maintain the aesthetic appeal, uniformity, and overall value of our community. These guidelines ensure that our neighborhood remains a desirable and well-kept place for all residents. To uphold these standards, the HOA will be conducting regular property walks to identify any compliance issues. When necessary, we will be sending out warnings for corrective action to address any violations. Our goal is not to be punitive but to preserve the integrity and appearance of our community in a fair and transparent manner. For your reference, the CC&R’s and Rules can be found online at www.ikonhayfieldcondos.org.  They can be found in the documents folders.  We encourage all homeowners to review these guidelines to ensure compliance and avoid any potential violations. Additionally, please note that all homeowners are responsible for relaying this information to their tenants. It is essential that all residents, whether owners or renters, are aware of and adhere to these rules. Furthermore, we would like to remind everyone that home rentals must have a minimum duration of three months. Short-term rentals of less than three months are strictly prohibited. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to keeping our neighborhood a great place to live. We kindly remind you that it is your responsibility to complete the following annual maintenance tasks: * Dryer Vent Cleaning: Prevents fire hazards and improves dryer efficiency. * Fireplace Inspection & Cleaning: Ensures safe operation and prevents chimney fires. * AC Unit Servicing: Keeps your system running efficiently and extends its lifespan. * Smoke Detector Checks: Ensures proper function in case of an emergency; batteries should be replaced as needed. * Rental Registration Updates: If you rent out your unit, please ensure that your rental registration is up to date with the HOA management, as well as the appropriate City and County departments.   Keeping up with these essential tasks helps maintain the safety, value, and overall condition of our community. Please see the email below for important reminders.    Friendly reminder, holiday lights and decorations must be removed within (15) days after the holiday. If you have not already done so, please remove all holiday lights and decorations.   Thank you to everyone that joined in displaying holiday lights and decorations. There were many homes in the community that looked wonderful, and we are looking forward to seeing next year’s decorations!   Holiday Lighting and Decorations Temporary holiday lighting and decorations are permitted. They may be placed in the yard and on the house 30 days before the holiday and must be removed within fifteen (15) days after the holiday. Lighting and decorations must not be a nuisance to neighbors.    

IKON Homeowners We have received several questions about the new Dues for the IKON Community and how to make the new payment.   The amount is your responsibility to update your bank payment system and to make sure the correct amount is being paid.   Attached is the same documents that you received with your Dues Increasing Notification.  This document will provide some help and clarity on the sites and resources here at Heywood to make sure you are submitting your payment correctly.

The IKON Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for Thursday November 14th.  Several of the Board Members will be meeting at 4:30pm to Walk the community to discuss the Landscaping and any Noticable Violations.  

IKON Homeowners. Please mark your calendars for the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Members.  This meeting will be held on December 18, 2024.  The meeting will be held in a hybrid fashion. Those that can attend in person will be meeting in the Club House while the online meeting will be connected through a zoom link to be sent out at a later date. The nomination form and link to submit your name in order to be on the Board of Directors will be sent out later today.
